Welcome to Ade's World!
Ade and the Heroes is a comic book series that follows 10 year old artist, Ade, and the fictional historical figures (inspired by actual Nigerian figures) whose stories she uncovers.
Ade's journey begins with her struggling to create a superhero comic book for class. With the help of a magic pencil, she discovers that 'heroes' are not as far away as she thought.

As Ade struggles with what to draw for her comic book project, she recalls the story of Tejumola Folorunsho and her support of the market women of Olumo against the unfair rules of the Chief.

Book 2: Bob Tokoni
In class, Ade learns about ways she can help preserve the planet, but struggles to understand how her choices make an impact. That is, until she learns of Bob Tokoni, a writer who dedicated part of his time to saving the village of Goi from the destruction the oil rigs brought.
